Anglesey Sea Zoo, Brynsiencyn
A great place to take the children. The Anglesey Sea Zoo is Wales largest marine aquarium, nestling on the shores of the Menai Strait. With over 50 species, the Sea Zoo has re-created the habitats of the fauna and flora found around Anglesey and the North Wales coastline. They are also a good destination for education groups with guided tours, beach safaris, tank talks, lobster hatchery tours and biological lectures. The Anglesey Sea Zoo is open on the weekends during winter 10.30am-3.30pm
 
Beaumaris Castle
Begun in 1295, this unfinished castle is the last and largest of King Edward I's Welsh fortifications. Designed by the king's mason-architect, Master James of St George, it is a perfect example of a concentrically planned castle. Formidable defences survive, surrounded by a partly restored moat, home to the castle's swans and ducks. New visitor centre and gift shop now open. Open all year
 
Bodafon Farm Park, Llandudno
Always popular with the children. a working farm at the Little Orme end of the Promenade, with panoramic views of Llandudno. Plenty of animals with some more usual ones including Llamas, Pygmy Goat, Truffles, Peacocks, Owls and Red Deer and Cattle. They have lots of ride on toy tractors for the children to play on and a adventure playground for the older ones Bodafon Farm Park has a licensed restaurant, courtyard and function room, which are suitable for a variety of uses. Great barbecue, Weddings (including Civil Wedding Ceremonies), Children's parties, Barbecue nights, private functions.
